Special Holiday - UK 2013 |
Lynda
allways had a dream to visit UK - Her dream came true in September/October
2013 |
||
We flew from Cape Town to Amsterdam Airport (Schiphol) on 2nd September 2013 on KLM. A few hours wait over at the airport then flew to Humberside Airport. We where met at the airport by Otto Peetoom – A fellow 1964 Cadet from the General Botha Naval Academy. He had arranged for us to stay in a friend’s house, who was away, opposite to his place in Roos, a village in East Riding of Yorkshire. We spent a few days with him in Roos on arrival and then again on the way home. | ||
This
is Lynda and Gordon’s story of their adventure to the UK in 2013,
